Custom Optical Precision Mirrors
High-precision optical mirrors are increasingly used in optical systems where size constraints require more compact systems. The purpose of these particularly efficient mirrors is to deflect the beam without losing energy, while maintaining the same image quality.
Mirrors of this type, also known as first surface optical mirrors, can achieve reflectance levels of even over 99%, depending on the type of metal coating chosen (aluminum, pure silver, pure gold, dielectric) and Optional protective layer.
The substrates used to realize them (optical glass, glass-ceramic) require particularly high quality and must be rectified and polished with a very high degree of precision.
High or partial reflectivity precision optics tailored for industrial, electro-medical, aerospace and scientific applications with surface quality up to λ/20. All mirrors are produced by an evaporation process in a vacuum chamber PVD with ion and plasma sources.
The following types of mirrors and half mirrors are customizable:
Plane mirror
Convex spherical mirror
Electroformed mirror
Freeform mirrors with complex geometries
