UV fused silica glass has a wider spectral range (185nm-2.1μm) than K9 optical glass, has excellent transmittance in the UV band, lower refractive index, better uniformity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, higher chemical resistance and very low fluorescence, and can be used to make various optical components. The double convex lens focuses light into a point with a positive focal length and consists of two convex surfaces with equal radius. It is often used in imaging relay systems and imaging of objects at a limited conjugate distance. The characteristic is that the larger the conjugate ratio, the greater the aberration produced.
