optical lens

Optical lenses are optical devices designed to focus or disperse light.

Optical lenses can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and can consist of a single element or form part of a multi-element compound lens system. They are used for focusing light and images, generating magnification, correcting optical aberrations and for projection, primarily controlling focused or diverging light used in instrumentation, microscopy and laser applications.

According to the required light transmittance and material, any specification of convex or concave lens can be produced at a specific focal length.

Optical lenses are made from materials such as fused silica, fused silica, optical glass, UV and IR crystals, and optical molded plastics. Used in a variety of applications in science, medical, imaging, defense, and industry.
