Chiller

In the refrigeration industry, it is divided into air-cooled chillers and water-cooled chillers. According to the compressor, it is divided into screw chillers, scroll chillers, and centrifugal chillers. In terms of temperature control, it is divided into low-temperature industrial chiller and normal temperature chiller. The temperature of the normal temperature unit is generally controlled within the range of 0 degrees to 35 degrees. The temperature control of the low-temperature unit is generally around 0 degrees to -100 degrees.

Chillers are also known as: refrigerators, refrigeration units, ice water units, cooling equipment, etc. Because they are widely used in various industries, the requirements for chillers are also different. Its working principle is a versatile machine that removes the liquid vapor through a compression or heat absorption refrigeration cycle.

The chiller consists of four main components: compressor, evaporator, condenser, and expansion valve, thus realizing the cooling and heating effect of the unit.

Chillers are commonly known as freezers, refrigerators, ice water machines, chilled water machines, coolers, etc. Because it is widely used in all walks of life, there are countless names. With the continuous development of the chiller industry, more and more people are beginning to pay attention to the fact that any choice in the chiller industry is becoming more and more important to humans. In terms of product structure, “water-cooled screw units with high energy efficiency ratio”, “water source heat pump units”, ” Screw heat recovery unit”, “high-efficiency heat pump unit”, “screw cryogenic refrigeration unit” and so on are very competitive. The principle of its nature is a multifunctional machine that removes liquid vapor through compression or heat absorption refrigeration cycle. A vapor compression chiller consists of four main components: a compressor, an evaporator, a condenser, and a partial metering device, which implements different refrigerants in the form of a vapor compression refrigeration cycle. Absorption chillers use water as a refrigerant, and rely on a strong affinity between water and lithium bromide solution to achieve a cooling effect. Chillers are commonly used in air conditioning units and industrial cooling. In air conditioning systems, chilled water is usually distributed to heat exchangers or coils in air handling units or other types of terminal equipment for cooling in their respective spaces, and then the chilled water is redistributed back to the condenser to be cooled. In industrial applications, chilled water or other liquids are cooled by pumping through process or laboratory equipment. Industrial chillers are used in various industries to control the cooling of products, mechanisms and factory machinery. Chillers can generally be divided into water-cooled and air-cooled according to the cooling form. Technically, the energy efficiency ratio of water-cooled is 300 to 500 kcal/h higher than that of air-cooled; in terms of installation, water-cooled cooling towers can be used. Air cooling is removable without other assistance.
